About the event
Join Women Leading Baltimore on August 7 for our Day in Community, a hands-on service experience bringing students, families, volunteers, and supporters together to pack hygiene kits for girls preparing to return to school. These “Confidence in a Bag” kits will help girls feel cared for, prepared, and ready to navigate even the most unexpected moments during the school day.
This event will also serve as a community activation for CLLCTIVGIVE, our annual day of giving. As we work toward our $40,000 fundraising goal, guests will have the opportunity to learn more about Women Leading Baltimore, make a gift, share our campaign, and see how community support directly fuels mentorship, leadership development, career exposure, transportation, wellness programming, and meaningful experiences for Baltimore girls.
Students who participate will be eligible to receive service-learning hours for their time and contribution. Refreshments will be provided, and guests will also have opportunities to enjoy…
