About the event
Join Women Leading Baltimore for a summer Saturday meet-up filled with food, fun, sisterhood, and sharing. This month, girls will gather for a picnic-style celebration to enjoy the summer season, reconnect with one another, and take part in our first "Thrift & Trade" experience.
Girls are invited to bring one new or gently used item they no longer need, use, or want that another girl may love. Items can include accessories, books, bags, journals, beauty items, school supplies, room decor, or clothing in good condition.
The purpose of the Thrift & Trade is to encourage girls to think about sustainability, generosity, personal style, and community care. Each girl will have the opportunity to share what she brought, why she is passing it along, and choose something new-to-her from another girl.
